Meet Rebecca?
Thanks to the return of Doctor Who (and the end of Torchwood), I've neglected to post the latest movie news. Shame on me!
Filming is now well underway. However, there is some bad news. A character named Rebecca has taken the place of Debbie Hemlock as Darren's love interest.
Although it's a little redundant really, since he's obviously in love with Steve/Kurda/Mr Crepsley/Some Male Vampire of Your Choice.
According to Darren, they changed the character so much that they decided it was best to start her from scratch and make a new character altogether. Although it's important to note that Debbie herself could appear in a sequel. Who knows what will happen?
Darren suggests not to think if the Cirque Du Freak film as a movie of the books, but as a movie inspired by it.
Probably for the best.
