Things have been a little weird of the island, lately. Mikal wakes up on the first day of opposite plot acting rather unlike herself. Neither she nor Zia can really make sense of it, but in the end, they decide it would be for the best if she goes back to sleep for a while.

Someone less optimistic than Mikal would have assumed a long time ago that there had to be a catch to this place. Already she could think of countless things that Eugene (not the dog) would have found to complain about were he here, even with the number of hot girls running around in revealing clothes.
