Rude awakenings. [Entrance Post.]

Bobby jerked awake with a start - and started spitting out sand.

Unpleasantly warm sand, from the feel of it, and he sat up slowly, trying to regain his bearings. He couldn’t remember the last time he’d fallen asleep in the break room at work, but he could remember Hodges’ warning - a promise that he’d wake up in the desert with a few of his limbs buried in sand.

“Cute,” he muttered, shaking the sand off his shirt as he blinked awake. The Nevada sun cut into his eyes, and he squinted into the distance. “Okay, Dave, y’all have got your fun, now let’s - ”

He frowned and blinked. Now, sure, he hadn’t grown up Vegas like a couple of them, but he was pretty sure from experience and his daughter’s begging that Nevada didn’t have an ocean.

Bobby climbed to his feet, brushing off what sand he could - even living in a desert, he still wasn’t used to sand. A quick once-over of the area revealed that he was most definitely on a beach, and one with no familiar scenes in sight.

Sighing, he rubbed the sleep from his face and scowled. “I’m never gonna live this down,” he muttered.
