I can't believe what I just heard. I can't help shake the feeling that it's partially my fault for not turning immediately and walking away or making myself known.
I was only taking a walk. I do it all the time when I can't sleep--and that happens often. I'm going to need to sleep eventually but the time isn't yet. It's daylight now, at least. Not warm at all, but I've my cloak and I'm almost convinced that I can stand up from the base of this tree.
Not sure how long I was sitting there re-living the poisonous words. I can't believe what either one of them said, Buffy or Richard.
I want to go home. I can't. I'm stuck here. How can I look either of them in the eye ever again?
For anyone, even people he hasn't met. Not sure how he'll react, to be honest.
Summary: After overhearing a
very ugly conversation between Buffy and Richard, Faramir spends the night against a tree wrapped in his cloak. In the morning,
Bridget happens by. He tells her he hasn't been sleeping. They talk and she offers him tea, which he's never had before.
Chris comes along and Faramir discloses his breakup with Buffy. Chris has some very good ideas of why Buffy might be acting like she does.
