She's walking past the park when she hears the tears. Normally, she'd ignore the fuck out of someone crying in the city. This isn't just any city. The ducked head is blonde. Druitt's on the loose. And...
And that's mistletoe.
Rolling her eyes at herself, Kate slides onto the bench next to her but not so close the mistletoe catches her too. "Hey," she says a little more quietly than she usually would. The girl's upset already. "For a plant, it's kind of a pain in the ass, isn't it?"

I forced down a rather strong flare of anger, schooling my expression to neutrality. Being held against my will was not somewhat I could take lightly. "It seems I am," I replied, trying to remain calm, as I did not want Gabrielle to have the impression I was angered with her. "Do you have any idea as to the source of this...dilemma?"
