It's a simple statement, not meant to hurt Tunny but simply let Mace know he's there. He doesn't feel much better, having strained his leg a little while trying to work his way back up to jogging, and the half mile forced walk back left him limping and drenched in sweat from the exertion.

Today he was searching for clothes - the beach and Docs didn't really mesh - but stopped when he saw one of the guys he'd first met sitting there, unlit cigarette in his lips and looking...well, looking like he usually did. Like the universe was out for nothing more than to fuck him over.
