Sports Night at The Catscratch!

So, maybe he should’ve known ahead of time, but trying to convince Kurt to come to the club? Was a big mistake. And kind of weird, when he thought about it. When he’d made the offer, it hadn’t occurred to him that he was opening that night, and that his job was to get naked in front of people, on a stage. And it was the look on Kurt’s face that got ( Read more... )

You know, Rachel feels really certain that her boobs shouldn't already be bigger. But they are. They really are. Shit. And even though Raylan says he can't really see or feel a difference, she swears her hips are wider. Like, a centimeter. Maybe.

Ugh, whatever. She's still here and doing her duty in a spectacularly slutty baseball uniform and she's going to enjoy her last few weeks before being regulated to fatty bartender status.

Zuko's taken advantage of the theme to wear the same thing he wore back in June - a white gi and black belt, since from what he can tell of karate, it's considered a sport.

He's stationed by the entrance outside, as usual, but the difference tonight is that he's got a basin of water next to him. He still doesn't like the fact that he's temporarily become a Waterbender, of all things, but it is maybe a little cool to have something from home for a while, even if it's not exactly his ability to wield. Waterbending is the opposite of Firebending, in many ways, but after lots of practice - he's stubborn enough to have done that much - he's gotten the hang of several moves, a combination of the ones on the scroll and the ones he's remembered seeing Katara do.

So while he waits for the next person to come up, seeking entrance, he practices using the water in the basin, drawing a stream of it out to fly around him like a snake, snapping it like a whip, and freezing it into a razor-sharp spike before sending it splashing back into the basin

It seemed a bit like cheating, to wear a costume for theme night he'd already worn, but Bill couldn't imagine coming tonight and representing any other sport besides Quidditch. So he'd borrowed the Chudley Cannons uniform back from Ron, having given it to him after he'd worn it back in June, and was at the club once again as a Quidditch player.

He played his sets as usual, some of them with Roger, and milled around between to chat with patrons and his fellow staff, going upstairs a couple of times as well. It was an odd night, what with various people having abilities or powers of some sort, but it was a good one. They'd got rather used to odd around here.

"Okay, I have to ask, what the heck is this? Full-contact cricket?"

Trixa motioned to Bill's clothes, trying to place the team or the cut... She knew she wasn't the most sports savvy gal in the world, but she was at a total loss. And lucky for her, Bill was the kinda guy she could tease about it.

"Quidditch," Bill replied, spreading out his arms to give Trixa a better look. "It's the most popular sport in the wizarding world, where I'm from."

"That is honestly a new one on me. But you certainly look the part, I guess." How do wizards play sports... and did she really want to know? Possibly not, she could imagine any number of crazy scenarios that would probably incomprehensible. Better not to ask.

"You're sounding pretty good tonight."

While Saffron was all for this month's theme, she wasn't much of a sports player herself, so she'd chosen to dress as a cheerleader instead. They were an important part of many sports, after all.

She'd chosen a song she'd been told was generally associated with sports, and it had a good beat, one she could get into and use while she was doing her acrobatics on the pole. She enjoyed the hell out of herself onstage as usual, and once she was dressed again, she circulated the crowd, her pigtails swinging.
