But that only slightly softened the blow of seeing himself on the screen, especially seeing himself dying. That wasn't something he had wanted anyone to see. He'd casually mentioned it to a few people, but that was different from someone seeing it.
"No, no, no, this can't be happening. This-"
That was when he saw who was watching the movie. If there was anyone on the island he didn't want to see that part of his life, it was Cassie. He just wanted her to like him for being a normal guy, not because he had saved the freaking planet.
"Oh shit."

But even then, when Sam was killed trying to get to Optimus, she was crying. Not even her anger could overshadow how upset seeing Sam dead made her. Not when she knew Kon and Donna had limited time when she returned home. Did everyone around her die to early?
When she heard Sam behind her, she qucikly rubbed the tears out of her eyes before she stood up and rounded on him. "So...you had an alien robot for a car and you didn't think this was worth mentioning?"

"No, I didn't," Sam said, crossing his arms. "Should it matter if I have an alien car? Because I don't think it does. I don't think that changes the type person I am or anything like that. Why should I have mentioned it?"

Then her voice got dark. "Yes. That's Sam. And that's his girlfriend, Mikela. And yes. That's his alien robot car. Named Bumblebee." Finally, she turned to look at her younger friend. "He didn't tell you either? Kinda a lot to leave out isn't?"
It was clear how not happy Cassie was at the moment.

"He told you about the car? When?"
She couldn't believe it. If Sam had hid this from everyone that would be one thing, but clearly he was just keeping it from her. Why would he do that? Was this some sick joke?
Then she shook her head. "He came home with me during that last time the island made people dream about home. He saw my super powers! I think I can handle a robot car!"

"Yeah. That's Sam's girlfriend back home. With his alien robot car. Apparently, the bookshelf decided to show me where he was from."

She didn't want to answer, but she knew Sam and Luke knew each other. "Yeah, it is. Apparently he has two movie about him and his robot car." Alright so perhaps not all of her diplomacy had left her, even if her tone was icy cold.
