It wasn’t very often that Cassie got the urge to watch a movie. She was a very active person, her hobby was a being a super hero so that probably would say something, but even she had the days where she wanted nothing more then to curl up on the couch and watching TV. And today was most definitely one of those days.
Thankfully, the rec room was blissfully empty and Cassie, dressed in comfy sweats and tank, set down her snacks on one of the tables. Everything was set except one thing. She had to pick a movie. She skipped over to the bookshelf and gave it a square look. “Alright bookshelf. I want something actiony. The most exciting movie you got! Non of that romance crap okay?” The shelf must have been in a good mood (in hindsight, she really should have known) because the contents turned into reels of actions films, with titles such as Pirates of the Caribbean, James Bond and more super hero movies then Cassie had ever seen. Avoiding the super hero movies, of course, she picked through the others until she came upon one that looked interesting. “Hey! Transformers! I wonder if it’s like the Saturday morning cartoon...?” There were two movies with the title and she pulled both reels off the shelf. After determining which one came first, she put it in the projector and then settled in to watch.
At first, the whole military verse the evil alien robot opening scene was totally drawing her in. She rooted for the good guys, of course, and marveled at the amazing graphics. Evil robots she’d battled herself as Wonder Girl looked less real.
Then, the movie changed to a school and a teacher calling a very familiar name. Cassie paused bringing a piece of dried mango to her mouth and stared as she saw her boyfriend try to sell his classmates his grandfather’s stuff. So he could buy a car.
That ended up being an alien robot.
Ladiesman217 was so dead when she got her hands on him.
Cassie watched the rest of the movie in silence, except when she made snarky comments about Mikela under her breath. Sure Sam had mentioned that he had a girlfriend back home but he didn’t mention that she was a freaking super model. And what the heck was wrong with her lips? She looked like a blow up doll. Granted the action scenes were pretty cool but that didn’t hide the fact that Sam had kept all of this from her. From her! His super hero girlfriend who would understand more then probably anyone else!
As the movie ended, the scene of Sam and Mikela making out on Bumblebee’s hood fresh in her mind, Cassie immediately got up and loaded the second film. Time to see what else Sam was hiding from her. Because alien robots? That was a BIG FREAKING DEAL to her.
[Canon puncture post for Sam Witwicky. Find her setting up the next movie, Transformers:Revenge of the Fallen or at any point during that movie. If you want to know some good ones for Cassie reactions, talk to me and I’ll let you know. Except for Sam’s death. That’s reserved. Also not a bad time to meet her either.]
