"Bobo! Bobo, slow down!" Coraline yelled loudly as she chased after the illusive Bobo. Jumping over a tree root, Coraline skidded onto the boardwalk and stumbled before running straight down the path towards the beach. Coraline shouted again, watching as the golden coloured Bobo sped towards the water at a quick pace. "No, no, no, no! Don't go in

The surfboard was nearly forgotten as the puppy forgot about whatever he was chasing and bound himself at her, making her shriek as she fell back onto the sand.

"Bobo! Don't knock Felicity over," Coraline yelled running towards Flick and her errant puppy who was trying to lick Felicity's face. "You need a hand?"

She tried holding the puppy at arms length, but the little guy was heavy and squirmy and she could barely hold onto him for laughing. It also didn't help that his wet fur made it hard for her to hold onto him.
"I'm fine." She called out, a little relieved as the puppy started towards Coraline, seemingly having a difficult time deciding on who to play with first. Felicity used the distraction to stand up.
"For a small puppy, I don't know where he gets all that energy."

"Me either. Guess he takes after me," Coraline said as he licked her face. Coraline had to say with her puppy being so active, she had slept a lot better. She was too tired to have nightmares. "I don't think Cat likes him. I don't know though, Cat just glares at everyone."

When the dog sped up, the crab sped up and it was heading straight for Hank. A Hank with nothing but black boxer briefs and a purple t-shirt to protect him. Digging his heels into the sand, he scrambled to his feet and sprinted for the girl, diving behind her like she was a human shield.
"Bobo maim!" He yelled, peering around her. "Bobo kill!"

"Don't worry I'll protect you from crabs," Coraline said whistling loudly. Bobo turned his head, ears sticking up before he ran back towards Coraline. Tongue dangling out of his mouth Coraline giggled. Her dog was pretty awesome even if he was a little goofy. "But don't encourage him to kill. I'm not cleaning up dead crab, that's gross."

He frowned deeply, looking down at his feet. "Aw, shit." His nails were well and truly screwed. Wet sandy varnish was not a good look.

"I'm not scared of a crab, they just make me uncomfortable like spiders." Coraline said sticking her tongue out at Sawyer. It was the legs. That and the fact most of the island crabs were bigger than her head. That wasn't normal. "And I'm not little. I'm tall so there."
Coraline picked up Bobo, as he yapped at Sawyer protectively. "Bobo, don't bark at Qui-Gon that's not nice. Have you met my puppy? Danny gave me him, he said if I look after myself and Bobo then he'll talk to the council about me living on my own. Isn't that cool?"

Stuffing his hands in his pockets, Sawyer raised a brow, his lips curved in a teasing smirk. "Uh-huh. They just make you uncomfortable, huh," Sawyer quipped, snorting. "Y'know, lotsa people get in trouble for sayin' things like that and not just ownin' up to the fact that they're scared. I think you're crabist and crabphobic, Coraline."
He threaded his fingers through his hair, shaking it out in the slight ocean breeze. "And you're definitely little. Don't matter how tall you grow, you're still a kid, and that makes you little."

"I am not crabphobic. They're just really creepy. Have you seen the size of them here? They're huge and they have these horrible legs. And there's this one crab, I think it's evil. It's always there whenever I try to come to the beach to have fun." Coraline said making a face before she nudged Sawyer. She knew he was teasing her but that still didn't stop her from taking the bait. "I am not. I'm fourteen in a month and thirty days. That means I'm not a kid. And when I live on my own I'll be a grown up and everything."
