But the Robin look was probably ruined by the plate of food and the slight smirk as he looked around at other people in uncomfortable costumes. He couldn't really help eating, it was a speedster's habit.

"At least it's a slow dance. I don't think I could do anything fancy in this outfit, but Mrs. Garrick taught me a thing or two about dancing," he admitted. And like everything else he learned, he was a bit more that mediocre at it, even if he wasn't spectacular. "That is, assuming you'd follow my lead. I wouldn't want to presume that of an independent young woman."

Then her face fell slightly thought she kept a brave smile. "We're talking and trying to be friends again. I can't ask for anything more." She'd seen Kon with a boy she did recognize a lot tonight but she was trying to ignore it and have a good time. It was probably nothing.
