"I've no doubt," she drawled. "I was referring to the box, but I'm sure you're every bit as amusing." It was hardly a compliment.

"As amusing as the box?" he whined, almost getting insulted by the comparison. "Hardly! I'm much funnier than that thing. It doesn't have a funny bone in it." And, as though it were making a point to prove him wrong, lying in the box as he looks down is a t-shirt with a "funny bone" being tickled. It probably had some innuendo to it that James was missing entirely. James made a face at the box. Totally mature move.

She almost thought it had just been cleaned out of anything good, since she was probably far from the only person to do this these last couple days, but that was ludicrous. It was self-regenerating. "Are you looking for something?"
