He got himself a cup of coffee. The rich, expensive kind that might have only been made better had Ianto made it. And for all Daniel knew, he had. He turned from the table to see who was around that he knew and narrowly avoided splashing someone with hot coffee. "Oh, god, I'm sorry. Are you all right?"

He sighed. "I wasn't planning on drinking, no, but I have a feeling you're going to try to change that." He cuddled his drink to his chest. "Let me have this, first. As much as I love Ianto's coffee, he only has a limited kind of coffee bean to work with. This?" He took a sniff of the coffee and closed his eyes, smiling softly. "This is heaven."

He walked around, through the crowds of people, supposedly mingling. Really, he was peering around and over people's shoulders to see what food items they held in their hands. He was under the assumption that he was being very subtle.

She took a fairly big plateful, though she stopped herself from taking too much. There was a whole night to enjoy and she didn't want to spend it puking in the bathroom.
As she rather cheerfully ate some potato chips from her plate, she started the careful movement through the crowds to find a seat.

"It just seems like a waste if I didn't," she replied matter-of-factly. She took the offered drink, kissing his cheek in thanks as she went. She took a sip of it once she pulled away. She had to admit, she wasn't as big a fan of the stuff as Devon was, but it'd been so long since she had it that it really tasted great. "What flavor is this one? It's good."

Her respects paid, she'd bullied, harassed, and annoyed the clothes box with every ounce of her formidable persistence until it had produced a new dress for her, one that was light and airy and showed every movement she made.
