Carson should have known that the second he'd decided to head up to the compound early for his clinic shift that something would go awry. He'd been in his hut, going through more of the translations from the wraith device Teyla'd had when she'd been on the island. Jill watched the dog pee on the chair with an arched eyebrow, trying not to look too amused. She knew Carson hadn't been too fond of the chair when it had arrived, but she didn't know if he'd be too pleased that his dog was urinating on it.

"I guess he learned from you what to think of that chair, didn't he?" she asked finally, biting her lip a little as she grinned.

"I promise you, it wasn't on purpose," Carson said, looking embarrassed for both himself and for his pet.

While he certainly wasn't a fan of those times back on Atlantis when he'd had to sit in the control chair, he most certainly hadn't wished this for it.

...at least not outright.

"Are you sure you didn't train him to do that?" Jill asked, crouching down so she could rub Evel's ears. Stroking his back, she looked up at Carson with a grin.

"Are you feeling better?" she asked, being vague on purpose. Considering all the things she'd done -- trying desperately to marry Rodney, for example -- she didn't want to mention any specifics.

"Aye, thankfully," Carson said, with a bit of a frown. If he had to make a list of the things he liked least about the island, changing personalities would definitely be close to the top of the list.

After two washes, some of his clothes still smelled like marijuana.

"That's one island oddity I didn't miss while it was gone."
