The night was still young, but I thought I could say for a fair certainty that it was a success. I had a beautiful room, guests who were enjoying themselves, and an abundance of food and drink to keep them occupied. For that matter, I had a drink of my own that needed refilling-- the Starks' hard cider was delicious, and I felt myself in need of another cup. Standing at the cask with the ladle in hand I sensed someone behind me. "Wait your turn," I teased, half-turning my head to see who it was out of the corner of my eye.

It was something, to see her so obviously satisfied. It's something that has been missing about her for some time, and something that I've no idea what to do about.

I incline my head towards her as she tugs on a lock of hair. "For you, I'll stay in bed, just a bit longer, I promise." It wouldn't be that much of a trial, I can be assured of that.

"I am sure you will not mind," I said, my smile holding somewhat of suggestion in it. In truth it had been too long since we spent a morning thus, and I was determined to see us enjoy it. "Until then I do hope you will enjoy the night, and the people here. Elua knows most of them have heard me speak of you often enough as to feel they know you themselves," I said with a wry chuckle.
