Was awful weird... That feeling of waking up not knowing, for a moment where you are, but the thing was, it was no clearer to Kaylee, the more conscious of her surrounds she became. Everything was gorram unfamiliar to her, come to that she even felt different. Cold. But, not in the needing another blanket, sort of cold. Was on the inside

Though rather than feel relieved that she was in one piece and safe; she just watched this whomever it was with speculation, annoyed this whole thing had happened in the first place. And was that grease on her shirt?
"This is frakked up." Kaylee tilted her head, as she regarded herself, taken over by a stranger. Normally she might have felt empathy, sympathy for someone being lost inside a body they didn't understand. But she scowled instead at being greeted. "Whoever you are in there, be careful." she ordered, brows furrowed. She saw the engine part. "You've been in the engine room. Touching things?" Se pointed out sharply, Kaylee might not have the same homey sentimental feelings for Serenity in this body, but she knew what was hers.

It was slightly galling to be told to be careful, he was always careful. He saved this body from a tiger. Which when the words filter through he realises she probably knows. He stares at the strangely annoyed woman, "Kaylee?"
This is strange enough that when she points out the engine parts Robin shifts to the defensive. "I just kinda wanted to," he said. And his reflexes are all wrong and when he goes to hand over the greasy metal thing, she fumbles it and drops it in the sane.

A solemn nod confirmed it, though as uncomfortable as she felt she was still highly aware of her own posture. "Wanted to." Kaylee echoed, her eyes narrowing faintly. "You do not, handle delicate machinery because you want to." And then it thudded in the sand, frustration flared. "And you do not, under any circumstances drop it in the sand!" She blurted, before covering her mouth suddenly.
Kaylee dipped to pick it up, and fought this frustration, this colder attitude as she held the old greasy coupler tightly. "Sorry." She managed to say, not entirely without an edge to it. But she meant it. "Who's there?"

Pure certainties were currently scarce, given she was working with half a brain, so she held to this one and marched up. "I think I know you," she announced.

She regarded the odd looking person with some disdain, because someone waltzing up to her and announcing they thought they knew her? Wasn't encouraging, or what she needed. "Yeah? That's gonna help me how?" She asked shortly, giving this person the chance to offer a bit of useful information. She knew she was in Kendra Shaw; and she didn't much like colours or proper nice clothes, and she was neat.

Damn, what was it? She glanced down and noticed she was holding a piece of paper. "...Kendra Shaw," she read.

"Glitch. Can't point you in the right direction I'm afraid, not familiar with the name- ..or the synapses." She understood, at least how it felt to be this way. Stuck somewhere wrong and no control. Though it was mention of a name that Kaylee could get excited about, though her body remained in a formal, steady stance. "You mean you're Kendra Shaw?" She double checked those tags about her neck. That was her! "I'm Kendra Shaw-" She paused, composed herself. "This body is Kendra Shaw. I'm Kaylee."

And he had thought Jayne was the worst example of siblings breeding.
He cursed himself under his breath for even thinking such a thing, and didn't look up as he bumped someone's shoulder as he walked past them quickly. "Watch it," he muttered, the foul mood rising simply because he continued to get angrier and angrier at himself. Or, rather, Banky.
"Sorry," he sighed in annoyance, looking back at the woman. "I meant to say sorry."

Kaylee was yanked roughly from her thoughts when someone knocked past her and told her to watch it! Nice. Gods there were than many people here that could learn a little respect. "Hey!" She barked back, spinning around neatly.
Though suddenly she was apologised to, and Kaylee snorted as though rejecting it. "You realise there are problems bigger than you having no control of your own direction." She bit her lip, Kaylee hated to snap so, but it just came out so easy.
"It's okay." She managed to say forcing her voice to be even, though cautious taking in a breath and keeping herself tall as she could. "The Island. It's fraked everything up- this isn't my body." She said with frustration, she snorted because whomever this was would probably think she's gone ( ... )

"FUCK!" he shouted in frustration. At no one in particular at all.
"Fuck, I'm sorry. Do you seriously think this is MY right fucking body?" he asked, disdainfully waving at himself, wrinkled shirt and jeans and backwards baseball cap. "Hell fucking no. And I'm fucking pissed about it."

"What the hell is wrong with you?" she snarled incredulously at being verbally assaulted before she could help it. Marching closer she stood to her full height, which wasn't remarkably tall, especially when he was over six foot. This was an awful frustrating situation and it just kept her temper right on the edge, she couldn't soften anything she felt. "Look neither of us are in the right body, okay?" Though rather than trying to settle the situation and be calming as such, Kaylee's tone was flat, yet a little edgy as he gestured wildly to his state of dress.
"You might as well suck it up right now, you know deal." She informed him coldly, speaking slowly as though he had some sort of mental incapacity. She was assuring herself at the same time, keeping herself ( ... )
