It had to be done, though he hadn't yet. Ragetti had been his patient, primarily. Wilson found him dead, and his chart needed to be moved to inactive status. Accessing the file, he read over his notes from the pirate's broken wrist, from his strong reaction to caffeine, from his intake exam after the thing with the squid ( Read more... )

Natural order is in F's soul, as much as a soul as she can have. It's just that natural order is rarely what the humans believe it to be. Even locked up in this place, F is aware of it, of the whimpering of the wounded at night and the exhaustion of the doctors.

It's so delicious that she doesn't even bite them. Just a lick, here or there.

She crawls out from under a bed to look at This Doctor, skitters over to sniff his feet.

Well, this was odd, the young woman crawling out from under the bed. She hadn't said anything, but the sniffing reminded him of Death, whom he still missed.

He smiled and raised a hand in a friendly wave, wondering what she got from his scent. She didn't seem frightened, just... curious.

F looks up at him, but of course looks and doesn't look because her eyes don't focus in this harsh light and because she just doesn't care to. She sees without looking.

She's as pale, as breakable looking as ever, the places the IVs have gone in her vivid on her skin.

She yawns, showing her teeth.

Wilson crouched down near the girl, but not too near. There was no reason to startle her. "I'm James, and I'm on duty today." He spoke to her in a calm voice and wondered why she had so many marks on her arms, obviously from IVs, and why there's no line at this point. From the looks of her, he'd guess she was sedated, or went through something bad on Halloween.

He wondered if she understood him. "Can I get you some water?" He curved his hand and raised it to his mouth, as if he were holding a glass.

There were knots in the back of her hair, tangled and uncared for. Streaks of what looked like dried blood smeared across her clothes and hands, rips in her clothing and a haunted look in her eyes. She wasn't exactly sure where she was anymore, she didn't know where she had been or what she had done. She didn't even know where her doggy was, no- doggies now that Roshaun had gone.

All she felt was an overwhelming anger and sadness.

"hELLo doCTor wiLson," Delirium said, waving her hands frantically in greeting. She would've laughed but it would have only led to her breaking down into tears again. Had she been crying? She couldn't remember.

[Del's come in for a little chat.]

This was not good. Earlier, he had asked Del to see somebody in the psych department, even set it up. "What happened?" His voice filled with concern for her as he guided her to the exam table.

"noThiNg, EVerything- i dOn't RemEMber." Delirium said hazily. She didn't even remember walking to the clinic, she didn't think it was all her own blood but she wasn't sure anymore. She wasn't sure of anything.

Delirium let him move her to the table, her eyes twitched as she constantly looked around the room. Things that she had forgotton creeped at the edges of her vision, making her edgier than normal and the anger didn't help. Delirium dug her fingernails into the palms of her hands and climbed onto the table, remiscent of Samara's creeping eerieness.

"yOUr haiR is niCe, FLUffy." Delirium commented, she was sure she had said that before but now there was no laughter or happiness. All she had left was rage, all she could think about was Him killing her pirate. "i cANNot hEAR THem anyMorE NOt EVen yOUR brother... coULD i havE a soME sweeTies?"

"Sure," he said uneasily, going for the jar of candies, which was getting low. :Looks like we have orange and vanilla today." Wilson waited for her to choose one, still wondering how she got the blood on her clothes. "I can't hear him, either, Del. Your... your people are very far away, but I know they still hear you. It's not always something that goes both ways."

He was afraid that she would grab his hair and yank, which didn't sound like fun.
