It hadn't been real. It had been this fucked up hallucination. He pinched the bridge of his nose. "Will be." He said (lied?) to the somewhat familiar voice.

She could walk away, pretend she hadn't seen him but then she wouldn't be doing her job. No matter what people thought of her, she always looked after her own. "Hello? Are you alright?" Delirium asked, approaching him quietly as she looked over him with her mismatched eyes

He then blinked, suddenly realising that the voice that spoke had been that of a woman and not a man.
"What? Who are you?" He asked, still wholly confused about the situation.

Delirium paused, staring at him sanely to see if he'd injured himself. Performing her duties was a lot harder since she'd gained a human body, everything was much more quieter and lonely without all the voices of the Insane. "I'm Delirium. Sorry," Delirium said appologising for her name as if it made a difference. "Are you? Alright, I mean. Do you want me to get you anything?"

After a slightly insulted look - he was decidedly not delirious - she corrected herself and he nodded lightly. "A drink, if you have it, would be wonderful."

She just watched him run into nothing.
Literally nothing, stopped like there was a wall spell - something that didn't happen here. Shady shifted down from her tree, her brows furrowing. "What's wrong with you?" She reached down, offering him her hand to haul him to his feet.

"I tripped." He lied. "I think I must have..." He looked at his hands, still painful, that he had just seen wounded. Now there was nothing. "Oh." What the fuck was going on?

Guy sighed, accepted the hand and stood up. Rubbing his head he looked around once more. They were all gone. "I'm sorry. Must have been miles away." He said, in an attempt to correct the fearful expression of seconds ago. It didn't work. He still sounded shaken up.
