Cecily was wandering about the island when she arrived at the giant waterfall that stood before her. It was such a beautiful sight and yet she could hardly stand it. She loved this island. It was everything she adored about her fantasies, and yet...

Well, something was just missing. As she stared at the waterfall in front of her, her breath became unregulated and she felt quite uncomfortable all of a sudden. She fell to the ground and felt water streaming down her face. She had never felt like this before. The only other time in her life that Cecily had ever cried was when she fell and skinned her knee. Why was she feeling like this? She could just imagine what she would write in her diary, if she had it.

Dear Diary,
Today I cried out of sadness for the first time in forever. The weather was quite lovely and I saw a giant waterfall as I wandered about the brilliant island.

But Cecily did not have her diary, and she had no care for the fact that the weather was quite lovely. She realized, when she was strolling, that some people had been on the island for months and months. She might never see her dearest fiancee, or Uncle Jack or Ernest or whatever his name was, ever again ever. What an awful thing to notice when the weather was so lovely. Cecily fell to the ground, holding her stomach, which was quaking an extreme amount, and closed her eyes as the tears continued to pour out. She suddenly realized what it was...

Cecily was homesick.
