Full House

House hated it when the rec room was filled with people. Especially this time, because as he stood in the doorway and surveyed the room, it was mostly filled with people he didn't likeLike that girl with the pink hair, the one who'd fucked Roger - well, okay, he didn't dislike her, she did have nice tits. Except her hair was black now - funny, ( Read more... )

"Denny Crane," Wilson announced, patting the friend of a friend on the shoulder in a manly way. "Who's your, uh, flotation device?"

"James Wilson!" greeted Denny. See, he was good with names other than his own.

"This is Shirley Schmidt-ho. Shirley, James. James, Shirley."

Wilson nodded at the doll. "Pleased to meet you, ma'am." Damn, that thing was creepy. "So I guess you're into blondes more than brunettes," he mused.

Wilson had something in mind. Nothing evil, just.. something.

"I'm very into Shirley," said Denny, then added, "The real one."

He regarded James suspiciously. "This one is just a doll, you know."

Mrs. Bennet wandered into the salon and spied such a large number of people, almost like a party! How charming. She had her needlework, but society was always preferable.

She approached a studious, elegant young lady with shining light hair. "Pardon me, miss, is this seat taken? I had wanted to do a bit of stitching this fine afternoon." She smiled broadly. "I am Mrs. Fanny Bennet. And you?"

Alcuin kept reading for a moment, then looked up, blinking. He'd assumed at the "miss" that she was speaking to someone else, but the only person in the vicinity was Father Callahan.

"Pardon, were you speaking to me?" he clarified politely.

"Oh!" Mrs. Bennet yelped as a soft but definitely masculine voice came from the young person. "I mistook you for a young lady. I do beg your pardon, sir."

She blushed and fidgeted. What a blunder.

She sat down, anyway. Her pwn dear mother would turn in her grave at her liberties, but her mother was dead. She would never know.

"You see, I have never seen such lovely hair on a young man." And to be honest, she had seen no one on the island whose looks rivaled this man's, neither man nor woman. Not even her own Jane!

Alcuin gave her a reassuring. "I shall take that as quite a compliment, then. And please, no need to call me sir - my name is Alcuin. Alcuin no Delaunay, a pleasure to meet you."

Delirium bumped into House as he tried to escape into the hallway and kissed him quickly on the cheek. "huLLo gRAndfather," she said as she escaped into the rec room. Throwing the bucket into the corner of the room as she entered, she walked slightly frustratedly towards the bookshelf. She had repeatedly been to the beach and still not procurred fish for her sister.

Turning slowly she stared around the room noticing all the many people in there again. It really was a popular room to be in. Blatantly ignoring her brother, she winked at the man with the doll and moved along the bookcase. Brushing past the woman reading, she wondered if she should start to wear those bra thingies. People seemed to be staring at her breasts through her fishnets.

((tag back with whomever you like or with all of them, it will make me happy.))

Maureen lifted an eyebrow at the woman with the see-through shirt walking past her. "Hi, sugar," she said, turning on the couch leg a little. "Looking for someone?"

CJ came in with her coffee and files and promptly dropped both as she stood there in shock.

"...Dad?"

Callahan looked up when he heard the crash of a mug onto the floor. Luckily it didn't break, but as he was right there he bent down and began to help her gather her things anyway. "Is everything all right, lass?" he inquired.

A hundred things went racing through her head, not the least of which was how in the hell she was going to take care of him when the disease was already so far along.

"I'm...fine. I'm...how are you?" she asked, bending low to gather the papers.

"Well, I'm... doing all right, all things considered." He straightened up and handed her the papers he'd picked up. "I'm sorry, but... have we met before? I can be terrible with faces sometimes." There was something about the way she was looking at him.

Wesley hadn't seen such a crowd in quite some time, but he wasn't really in the mood to be off at the party, especially considering he barely knew the woman whose birthday it was. "Excuse me," he remarked politely to the man reading Shakespeare. "If I could just get past..."

Dream glanced up from his book, then looked back down. "I'm very thin, Wesley, I think you can squeeze through."

Wesley faltered mildly, hand upon the spine of a book about the economic and political ramifications of the plague, as he stared at the (admittedly thin) and strange man. "I'm sorry?" he asked. "Have we met?"

"Not that you would remember, I dare say," Dream said distractedly.
