Full House
House hated it when the rec room was filled with people. Especially this time, because as he stood in the doorway and surveyed the room, it was mostly filled with people he didn't like.
Like that girl with the pink hair, the one who'd fucked Roger - well, okay, he didn't dislike her, she did have nice tits. Except her hair was black now - funny, she reminded him of Sirius for some reason - and she was having a lively conversation with Maureen, whom he was almost positive he heard say "neon pink dildo." Maureen looked liked she was flirting with the girl from her perch on the arm of the couch, short skirt riding up when she crossed her legs. But then she got up and walked over to the bookshelf, grabbing the first trashy romance novel that caught her eye.
House hadn't seen Dream since he'd fainted in the clinic after giving blood but he seemed much better now. He was standing up straight with a copy of The Tragedies of Shakespeare and looking like some strange statue, leaning just barely against the wall as he read. He gave House the creeps. Big time.
Alcuin was sitting on the couch beside a priest. House tried not to think about that too much. It made his head hurt. At least they weren't talking; he wondered what the priest would think of Alcuin and Phedre's religion, sacred prostitutes and all. House frowned. And why was a French guy reading a French textbook?
For a moment House thought he didn't know the guy playing pool, but then he realized it was the one whose arm he'd stitched up during the dino traumas. Except he'd had a beard. House couldn't decide if he looked better without it. His ears were too big. Bad attitude, too. Of course, House didn't make a much better patient himself.
What House really wanted to do was make his way to the piano, but there was a couple standing there - a older man wearing an expensive looking suit, and a blonde woman, or - wait. House squinted at them. Was that a blow up doll?
He sighed and stepped back into the hallway. People. How annoying.
