Ray knew it was a bit of a trek back to the compound from where they were standing, which meant he and Stanley had a bit of a wait ahead of them. Which sucked because Ray felt positively disgusting, soaked in blood and smeared with ash and just generally cranky. There wasn't even really anywhere to sit. He just hoped that Maladicta and Buffy came back with the whole posse just as soon as they could.
