Agreed. Beyond bitching, spreading awareness and emailing, I don't have time to do much else. Its frustrating.

Our country is under seige from these rightwing assholes who insist of force feeding the rest of the America their distorted values. A rouse tactic for their voter base or not, this sort of shit should be unconstitution and laughed at by lawmakers in this day and age. People should be allowed to believe what they want, but when they start trying to make their garbage into policy that effects everyone, it becomes a problem.

As infuriating as this sort of news is, thank you for posting it.

Yeah, I've seen it. :) http://community.livejournal.com/cf_hardcore/ (Hardcore Childfrree community.) linked it. I know you aren't CF, but you may want to browse that community once in awhile. They post a lot of information and articles like this that are totally relavent to being female.

I find you interesting and intelligent so I hopped over to your personal journal. Hope you do not mind.

"Ohio legislation would make no exception for rape, incest or to save woman's life."

That saddens me more than anything since I accept abortion in those cases. The way I see it is if you're responsible enough (or think you are) to have sex then you should take responsibility for the consequences that may come up. It doesn't make sense to why someone would outlaw those cases but it is understandable. However, in rape, incest, or to save the mother's life the women should never be denied.

"The only exception to the South Dakota law is when an abortion is necessary to save the life of a pregnant woman."

What the hell? They will save her life when she CHOSE to get pregnant but they won't spare a rape victim her grief or raising a child that was forced upon her?

Ridiculous. Just because they outlaw it doesn't mean it won't happen. Just more women will die and there will be a shit load of pro-choice doctors sitting in jail.

I don't mind at all, I can add you if you'd like. Just be forewarned that I am quite crazy. And yeah, the whole thing is just insane.

Sure, I added you and I doubt you're that crazy. At least not to me.
