my job causes controversy. it's the nature of the organization, and the reason why we have
changed our name with this move to the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History, and our new tag line of "reactions welcome" - a lovely play on words and concept if you ask me.
one of the more controversial artifacts in the museum is actually outside on our sidewalk.
when it went in it caused some serious drama (with like 5 hippies who didn't want it near their pottery stores or some shite)
some people still like to argue about it today. this artifact is KNOWN for the things it did to advance space travel. it did other things for the weapons race, but it is primarily known for the space stuff. i have half a mind to say something really effing rude to the guy like "well, Hitler DID happen to paint and compose poetry and write, thusly making him a POET and AUTHOR by definition. but, what he is known for is MURDERING JEWS."
