my job causes controversy.  it's the nature of the organization, and the reason why we have changed our name with this move to the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History, and our new tag line of "reactions welcome" - a lovely play on words and concept if you ask me.

you totally should! one of my aunts was telling me a while back that the actual plane my grandfather flew for decades in the USAF is on display at an AF museum in CA. I think it'd be totally cool to see it.

heh....anytime hippie bashing begins, I can't help but think of one of my favorite music lines:

I hate how people can't learn from the past but instead try to erase it. Having anything in a museum doesn't show support to it good or bad, but shows that at one time it exsisted and this is what came from it (good and bad).

this is my opinion as well.

PLUS if we hadn't invented all those nuclear bombs, we wouldn't have some really cool things now like nuclear energy, or (more importantly) nuclear MEDICINE! One of our billboards that is going up for the grand opening is really cool - it simply says "over 32,562 nuclear medicine procedures are performed in the united states every day"
