For all the things the hotel could and did meddle with, the effect it had on the concept of time was one of the more frustrating. While it was easy enough for go through each day and register time passing, the amount that did never seemed to mean much. "...It's hard, being stuck in a place like this isn't it?"

Blinking a moment, the princess quickly got to her feet and dusted herself off, before managing to smile at the stranger. She didn't want to pass her gloom on to another person after all. It also made her momentarily forget the odd animal she had just seen.
"Well, maybe so, but I'm a firm believer in Justice prevailing, so I'll make the most of this no matter what!" she cheered, striking a pose.

"Justice prevailing, huh? My brother would enjoy getting to know you! I'm Ruka. It's nice to meet you!"
Reply
"Nice to meet you too Ruka, I'm Amelia." she replied. Tilting her head in a curious fashion, she paused a moment before speaking again. "Did you just decide to explore up here too?" she asked.
Reply
"A little while ago. I just had to get out of the hotel, if only for a short time. I've never walked up a mountain like this back home, and thought it would be a different change of pace while looking at my deck! What about you, Amelia?"

Amelia raised a brow at the deck of cards, unsure of what exactly their signifcance was supposed to be. However she decided to answer Ruka before prying too much into things. "Me? Well I wanted some fresh air, so I came up here to train, to clear my head a bit."
Reply
"To train? Like...a hero would?"
Reply
"Exactly, to be able to fight in the name of Justice!" she grinned, pumping her fist in the air. "I've been training for as long as I can remember, with my Daddy when I was little, and now with my friends."
Reply
"I'm sure you had a lot of good memories with your friends, huh?"
Reply
"I do, and I count myself lucky some of them are here too." she smiled. Yes things had been a little awkward and she didn't see them as much as she would have liked, but it was something at least.

"I saw a cabin a little down the path if you wanted to stay there for a while."
Reply
"Ah, that's okay, I can take care of this." she insisted, casting the glow of Recovery on her hands again. Unfortunately due to her low energy, they didn't heal entirely, leaving the princess to wince.
Laughing at herself with some embarrassment, she smiled in an awkward fashion at Ruka. "Guess I overdid it. maybe that would be a good idea."

"So you've never seen someone use magic before?" she enquired.
Reply
"I've seen it, but in different ways. Back home, I was a Signer and I could see spirits from another world. That's Kuribon!"
Reply
"A Signer? Is that some sort of sorcerer?" she asked curiously.
