At the end of the day Kara needs to be able to turn everything off. No thinking. No responsibility.
And somehow, no matter what kind of days he’s had, Lee knows.
He takes her hand, leads silently towards the bedroom. Toeing off his shoes as he goes. Unbuckling his belt with a carefully placed leer. Whipping his tie from his collar with just the right pop. Kara bites her lip. Her breathe baited with arousal and anticipation.
Of all the things she loves about him, the way Lee fraks her until all she sees are stars might be the best.

The end of the day should make him tired, weary down to his bones from a day in court, but instead, Lee has a smirk on his face as he walks through the door of their apartment, finding the lights low and the sharp edge of Kara’s voice on the phone in the living room.
He drops his briefcase and moves behind her where she sits on the sofa, toes dug into the cushions as she complains about a client. She must be talking to Helo, Lee thinks as he slides his hands onto her shoulders and nuzzles the side of her neck

Maelstrom and Back Again, PGkdbleuApril 15 2012, 14:46:07 UTC
Somewhere between here and gone, she feels it. A searing that rips through her soul.
So when she blinks again she isn’t everywhere like she thought she’d be, half way back from Earth and salvation already.
Instead she’s there in her viper with him. She doesn’t want to go. Not yet.

Lee’s face creased with worry and relief is the first thing she sees. Kara feels the stretcher under her, the prying eyes around them. She doesn’t care. She can see his smile.
Because the branding happened long ago, in another lifetime maybe…
Living the Dream (PG)scifishipperApril 19 2012, 12:59:21 UTC
Hours later she feels someone holding her hand, stroking her skin in small circles. She smiles with her eyes closed, not quite ready to give up the comfortable cloud of sleepiness. Memories begin to intrude, slowly, immersed in a fog of unreality: her mother lying in a sick bed, a book of memories that can't possibly be true, Leoben's face, kinder than she remembers, a sense of peace.
When the images brighten, so do the sounds, the rush of air, loud and violent, rattling her head against the back of her seat, Lee's voice in her helmet. He’s screaming and she doesn’t know why. He’s trying to rip her away, bring her back to pain and terror. Why is does he want to hurt her? Sudden fear spikes in her chest, sending her heart beating fast and she blinks, feels the fingers stop on her hand.
"Hey, you're awake.” His voice is crisp and clear and she’s confused. He’s not upset any more. Her eyes flutter open. The familiar blue of Galactica’s sickbay comes into focus and then blurs as her eyes drift closed again

Kara sets the ice pack gently on her knee. She’s out for the rest of the afternoon, probably the weekend, but the boys play on. Zak and Lee trash talk and swipe at each other between sets.
It’s unfair that she has to choose at all, but she promised.
Lee tosses his brother the pyramid ball. Zak laughs in response.
She loves them both… in different ways.
Then Lee catches her eye and winks. She smiles without hesitation, remembers his hands ghosting across her bare skin. Closing her eyes, Kara decides she’ll tell Zak she’s in love with his brother.
A Heavy Choice To Make, Rwicked_sassyApril 15 2012, 15:38:04 UTC
Lee reaches across the bed to Kara. She bites her lip, says: “We can't do this again, not until...” her voice trails off. “I hate lying to him. Soon, okay? I promise.”
She pushes herself out of the tangled sheets. He sees her grimace, one hand reaching down to rub her knee.
“Hey...” he tugs her close again, remembering his face buried between her legs. “Take it easy, rockstar.”
She stiffens under his grasp and pulls away. “I've chosen you, Lee, you know that. But he's your brother, and we're all playing pyramid tomorrow. Frak!”

Yay! Infideliciousness!
This is fabulous. I love carrying the knee forward (because I totaly hadn't thought of it) such a interesting thought. And I want to know what happens next. :D
Brutal Love, PG-13kdbleuApril 15 2012, 14:47:59 UTC
She kisses back, hard this time. So hard their teeth knock together and Lee pulls back.
For a split second Kara’s afraid Lee’s going to tell her to slow down. She doesn’t know what she’d say then. Something stupid about just needing a good frak. Something about all the ghosts in her head that she uses to keep thoughts of him at bay.
She’s not ready to admit out loud that she needs his fantasies about living through this hell, about bright, shiny futures.
So she kisses him gently, slowly because this is real. Because Kara Thrace loves Lee Adama.
Gentle Love (PG-13)scifishipperApril 19 2012, 13:15:49 UTC
Lee feels her shift, urgency easing as her tongue slowly explores his lips, not quite teasing, not possessing in a rush of lust. Her fingers do the same, not ripping at buttons, but releasing each one in turn more carefully than he's imagined.
Her mouth follows her hands, licking a trail down his neck, her tongue swirling around his nipples as she pushes his shirt off. She slides her palms up his arms, cups his face.
She's sexier than he can believe when she holds his eyes, unguarded, backing up her promise, making him believe.

I love that the whole range of emotions, from tenderness to violence, feels like pilots. They are a miracle of characterization. *huggles them* Thank you!
Saving For Breakfast, Gwicked_sassyApril 15 2012, 15:02:55 UTC
The mess hall on Galactica was a rowdy place, rowdier than most battlestars. Commander Adama knew his people needed a place to mingle on a regular basis. The food was never very appealing, but everyone ate the same chow, and they carried on. Sometimes the pilots had food fights with the knuckledraggers. One day, after a long shift, he walked in for a late meal, Tigh at his side. Adama heard Kara’s shriek in the background. Adjusting his glasses, he saw her sitting on Lee’s chest, smirking as she rubbed noodles into his hair. “Don’t be a sore loser, Apollo!”
