Ruvin could be part of either, really! Seeing as I've got doomplans involving Ruvin and the Rift and her ability to manipulate chance (see her own journal), and that she already does like the Doctor much as she'd never admit it, either one could happen.

Redundant me is redundant.

Also Abby could do number... well number one, probably, since they go >O at each other whenever one or the other is nearby.

...heck, any of my current characters could go for one or the other.

Though Cy is a bit. Uh. Indisposed.

Clockwork werewolves orbiting a black hole? ....That's uncomfortable.

...I have nothing constructive to say. Except that the second storyline makes me go "Aww!" And want to scritch the Doctor so hard.

I am very tempted to offer up Gabe for the second, if only because I can't remember the last time the Doctor worked along with a teenaged boy. (Adric? Turlough? Mickey does not count, because as much as I love the Doctor, you have to admit that Nine and Ten both treated the lad pretty rotten.)
