Room 511, Saturday Morning...ish

Apr 11, 2009 14:28

Francine, usually a morning person, woke up... slowly. Probably the punch. Wait, punch? Ohhhh, prom. Like before, it had been just a little too good, and they were dumb, dumb, du---

They?

Oh. Yeah. Oh.

Merlin snored quietly, wrapped around her like a limpet. It was still warm and he had yet to realize exactly what happened last night.

Grant him that small mercy?

No. Oh well!

Francine was totally willing to, for what it's worth. She could use the time to actually remember what had happened, which involved a lot of 'wait...' and 'ohhhhh.'

But no flailing yet, which surprised her as much as it would anybody else.

It was the second time he'd woken up with her like this. Well. Not quite like this.

Merlin shifted and breathed in as he started to wake up very slowly. And then saw the skin. The waking up from there was rather fast. "..."

Bugger.

She should really... There should be a blanket or something. That they weren't sleeping on top of.

Still no flailing, but that could change rapidly depending on whether he was going to. "Hi," Francine said, blushing rather a lot.

There was a gentle knocking on the door.

All right - it wasn't so much gentle as it was loud, and it wasn't so much knocking as it was pounding. Arthur had one child under one arm, Arthur had one child by his feet, and Arthur had a fascinatingly well-practiced expression on his face, one that Merlin should, by all counts, know very well.

Arthur was Not Amused.

Merlin scrambled for the door, knowing that knock far too well. Oh god, what now...

"Arthur."

And children.

"Um."

"Merlin," Arthur said, pleasantly.

Really.

"I believe these are yours."

Arawn clung to his arm.

"Mine?" The one with dark hair launched himself at Merlin's legs, clinging to them and bouncing.

"Cake time! Cake time!"

There was a knock on the door. Hunith had discovered where one of her fathers could be found, and as aunt Ghanima had informed her of the situation she was prepared. She would impress him.

Merlin would be impressed by clean clothing at this point. But a child might work too!

Opening the door, he peered down at her. "Err, can I help you?"

"Hello, father," Hunith replied cheerfully, then she said a short spell, and the two of them were suddenly engulfed in a miniature desert sandstorm.

"Father?" Oh god, he had sex and this was his punishment! Merlin's eyes went wide and he reached out to put that to an end.

After visiting her daddy and sister, Brownie took the leftover cake she had baked up to her mother's room and knocked on the door with her foot.

Maybe Mommy would want some of this delicious cake.

THE CAKE IS A LIE.

How many people were going to knock here?! Merlin opened the door and... stared down at the cake. And child. "Hello."

Brownie immediately pulled the cake closer to her because she so wasn't sharing with people who weren't family.

"Where's Mommy?" she asked with a frown.

She was used to seeing strange men and women with her father but this...this was different. Look at his ears!

His ears were perfectly fine! "Who is your mommy?" Merlin asked slowly. He glanced back toward Francine to see if she knew.
