So yesterday I drove to work at 4am, to get their before everyone else on my shift, so I could talk to my supervisor and quit. Well, it turned out that supervisor, and all the supervisor-like people were in a very early training session and would not be back until around 7am. Sick again...
This makes the fourth time being sick in two months. I just can't stay well. I really think that the rooms in the house that haven't been painted are affecting my allergies and asthma and making me worse. I started training at my new job last week. I am a Direct Support Person at Wendell Foster's Campus in Owensboro. Yesterday was my first day "on the floor," working with the residents, but I ended up leaving early because of sickness. I don't know really what to think about my new job yet.
