...luckily, for me, it's all on my parents.

Do we just have kids to screw them up? Or is it to screw them up but then right that wrong that was committed upon us by our own parents?

I think that if you even fix one problem that your parents had as (erm) parents, you're doing pretty good.

My upbringing was pretty screwed up in a lot of ways, but at least my Dad made sure that we knew how to express affection. That's something my Dad didn't get from his Dad.

I think some of it is unknowingly screwing them up in repeating the pattern type of way
But as scary as it sounds you catch yourself realise look within and make things better then they were before
