I really enjoyed your essay. Totally agree with your take on glam!dudes. It really does take a lot of guts to go out in makeup and glitter :D And the glam!women are impressive and inspiring for the strength with which they present themselves. :)
Well, I don't have anything to say about this except She's No Angel is actually by the Heavy Metal Kids and I'd say is more about pre-punk nihilist aesthetics of gleeful destruction of old fashioned values and also, of course, COMEDY VALUE.
