ADDED AFTER THE FACT: I want to make love to LiveJournal. I thought I had broken one of the cardinal rules of blogging: don't write your post in the post box itself, write it in a word processor in case IE gets wonky. Lo and behold, after staying up til past 1am with comp issues on my laptop at home, here I am at work, intending to post a temp blog ( Read more... )

It's good to see you on the net the last day or so, because I was starting to worry :] Sounds like you've been doing some fun stuff lately!

Glad you like the custom figures; I found a whole bunch at different places online. Including the world's most terrifying Raider custom -- he looks like the undead, but I don't think that's what the creator intended...

Thanks. :) But eh.. the mild depression's kinda muted some of the fun, though the swings have been good for the ol' creativity (or maybe it's the cooling weather) Which reminds me, the sky was looking nasty in prep for a storm last night as I was driving home from work, and I couldn't help but think Mark was reacting to the loss of Josh.

=:o Terrifying undead Raider custom? Maybe it's in prep for Blackest Night?

Ah, depression, how would we be creative without you? :] I find my bad mood tends to bleed into my work, though.

Poor li'l Josh.

Good heavens, I don't think any Blackest Night zombie Raider could be as awful as that thing. I'd be nervous just keeping it on my shelf. I shall be posting links shortly.

Oh, and I got my DC calendar! Pics soon.

Sounds like you get off easy then. I tend to daydream-wallow in worst case "How can they ever be happy again?" scenarios. The latest is Muse, having lost her leg to gangrene from that early arrow wound, is out on her own in the world now, having rejected the company of the guys from her own world because they were about to come to her rescue but then saw her kissing Calc and decided to leave her alone, only for Calc to turn on and drug her 20 minutes later, keeping her prisoner and doing awful things to her. Though, I suppose it counterbalances the scenario where Calc, seeing her cry in the motel bathroom, gives her a teddy bear and hug, lets her cry it out on his shoulder, then looks into getting her situated in this new world. I guess the manic-depression tends to make good guideposts for shooting the plot straight-and-narrow down the middle?

Sweetness! Can't wait to see what your treasure looks like!
