Welcome to the residency post of Vatheon. Here you can pick where your character is staying. We couldn't have them out on the streets, now could we? Here you can choose from the middle and lower districts, from small apartments to full-out buildings. All buildings, unless otherwise noted, are up for grabs! Just comment below! If nothing tickles your fancy, don't fret! If you would like your character to take over and renovate an abandoned building in the Lower District, just leave a comment here! Please provide us with a description of the new building, what is inside, and who will be using it. Although we promote creativity, please do not go too over-the-top. The buildings are large, yes, but are not the equivalent of a mansion. Think of a modern-sized home.
Brad oversees most of the dealings with the apartments and buildings of Vatheon. If you ever have any IC questions about them, feel free to say that your character has spoken to him about such. There is no formal IC process to obtaining a home.
Restaurants and shops have been moved here for ease.

LOWER DISTRICT
[ PHANGA NEIGHBORHOOD ]
Small, quaint houses line the streets here, crisscrossing one another. Eight on each side, with two and a half floors. Four bedrooms upstairs mirroring one another, with a trap door in the ceiling leading to an attic. A living room downstairs, then a dining room and kitchen across the hall. Half bath downstairs with a full bathroom upstairs (shower, tub, and sink). There's a small study too and in the kitchen is a door that leads to a fenced in backyard with a porch and tree. [ CORAL CORRAL ]
Near the edge divide between the lower district and middle district is a gated community full of small, quaint, houses. About four bedroom, two bath, with a living room towards the front, a study room, a kitchen, and a small attic. The garage part of the house has been left empty, to be turned into whatever the residency fancies. Currently, ten houses line the streets, taking up little pockets of area in the gated space.

Located near the Nostalgia Nook is a well furnished apartment building, cozy and quaint with a fireplace in each apartment and large windows to let the underwater sun inside. Seven floors high with six apartments on each floor, two bedrooms in each apartment with one on the upper level and one downstairs. It's the perfect apartment for someone who likes to spend time at home to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet.

[ VOLO DORMS ]
A studio apartment building converted into dorms by a certain Persona 3 cast, the first floor consists of a living area and a kitchen/dining room area along with male and female baths. The dorm rooms upstairs are quite small but no matter, consisting of mostly beds and desks with a small sitting area. Shared male and female bathrooms are set on each floor, the building being four stories high. Unfortunately, this building is invite only by anyone who already lives here.

[ SPECULUM HOUSES ]
On either side of the LOWER DISTRICT, resides two large homes. These buildings, near estate-esque, are the largest vacant buildings in the entirety of Vatheon. Both buildings lay host to a variety of balconies and gardens, as well as secret entrances and passageways. They are of the utmost-fashioned homes and despite being in the lower district, are nothing but the best. There are approximately ten bedrooms, three baths, a large and small kitchen, and various other rooms. Both are suited with grand entrances and mirroring spiral staircases. And did I mention that they were mirror-images of one another? Exactly the same.

[ IKASHUN APARTMENTS ]
While being a small building, these apartments are quite spacious. Three bedrooms in each apartment, it's good for a nice group of roommates who are looking for some place to live. A balcony even accompanies each apartment while a gym takes up the bottom floor.

[ VITA APARTMENTS ]
The largest of the apartment buildings. It is five stories high, sporting five rooms per floor. There's a small balcony on the roof, but apart from that, there's really nothing else up there. The rooms are nicely furnished with two bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen, and a seating area. The image can be found here.

[ ORDO NEIGHBORHOOD ]
Near the Library is the grand neighborhood of Ordo. The most highly furnished, fancy, and lavish apartment buildings reside in the two-by-two street area. Within the apartment buildings are two floors. In fact, these apartments are separate buildings side by side. An up-to-date, garnished kitchen that welcomes you inside, four bedrooms, two baths, a den, a study, two large living spaces, and an outside porch. Each apartment has a small spa built into the downstairs bathroom, and most apartments in this area come equipped with the oldest of wines and greatest delights. You certainly will not go bored here.

[ LARMLINE APARTMENTS ]
Overlooking the park is a nice, modern looking apartment building. With a security guard in charge at all times, and a private indoor swimming pool, these apartments are top notch. Decorated to the highest quality, they're quite a snatch for whoever wants to live comfortably and stylishly. Six floors high with six apartments on each floor and a penthouse at the top, four bedrooms in the penthouse, two in the apartments. It beckons for people to take residence within it.

Quaint one bedroom studio apartments are located a few blocks away from the library. Small balconies accompany each apartment and it's a perfect place for someone who just wants a cozy place to sit down and watch the water above.

Other Buildings / Special Housing
[ first_scorned Place ]
Near the Library and not far off from the Grand Steps is an incomplete, abandoned building. It was apparently left during construction due to the fact the residents who use the Library complained about the noise, putting the remodeling to a complete halt. It has two simple floors, and one current resident, though no one is really sure who it is. From the second floor, a window overlooks the steps going up, the Library, and the path leading further into the Middle district's public areas. It's the perfect vantage point where one can be aware of those leaving as well as going past the house.
The inside of the house itself is basic, due to the fact it's unfinished; the furnishings seem to have been hastily left or brought there, and the paint isn't even on the walls, yet. Plumbing was finished beforehand, and it has running water and a single bathroom on the first floor near the steps leading up to the second floor. On top of having a decent it view, the building offers two doors in and out; both have locks for security. The back door leads to an alleyway behind the library, where one could slip out of sight in the event of an intrusion should something startle occupant.
The second floor bedroom contains a single set of the basics (moved in by its current resident, most likely): a small twin sized bed with red-colored sheets, a large wooden table with one matching, wooden chair; a small bookcase with books from the nearby Library checked out, and a reading lamp and small end table near the window overlooking the Grand Steps with a large armchair, for reading. Blinds cover this window most of the time, but passers-by will likely get the distinct feeling someone is living here. With Naoya's departure from the bubble, redcloakedthief has taken up residence here.
[ Patchwork Laboratory ]
A one story building (with a basement) the size of an average house, much like a warehouse. It is fairly stark, with a door to the basement to the right upon walking in. The main room is the living room, with a door to the (small) kitchen, which leads to the three bedrooms and two bathrooms - one full, one half (the half is in the master bedroom, which is his). There's no carpet on the floor, it's all cement. The rooms, of course, could be changed if anyone moved in. The doors are heavy metal, and have an odd habit of opening on their own, even inside the house itself.
It is decked out to look pieced together, with painted arrows on the floor, etc. The key to the basement (which he has modified into a lab, as best he can on the sea floor) only had one copy, and that is in his possession.
The outside looks scraggly and run-down, and not much of his modifications (mostly just gigantic stitches or arrows and the like) change that. Since Lea moved in, the yard is looking better and more tended to. To the side of the building there is a large pen for Chocobos of various colours.

[ The TARDIS ]
The 10th Doctor's TARDIS (his little blue box that's bigger on the inside) materialized in the North-East Quadrant Forest when the Doctor was pulled into Vatheon. Despite many tries, he hasn't gotten it to budge since it landed. The Doctor refuses to take up housing elsewhere, claiming that other housing prospects here were "too boring and traditional". The Doctor was never one for adhering to traditions, anyway.

[ The Villa ]
It's definitely small compared to normal villas, but still larger than anything the kids living in it (save the few rich kids) are used to. It stands at three floors tall, with enough rooms to accommodate all the kids, plus two extra guest rooms for any friends they end up taking in. It's got the usual necessities -- a half bath downstairs, a full bath on the second floor, a kitchen, dining room, living room and laundry room -- and then a few extra, empty rooms which the kids have taken upon themselves to expand upon -- adding things like a piano and other decorations to convert one room into a music room, for example. It has a small library with enough shelves to keep the two resident bookworms satisfied, a small yard outside, and a pond out front that's perfect for ducks. A few of the bedrooms started off empty, but the kids are working on making the villa a place they'll never want to leave. More info here.

[ Waka's House ]
Close to the hustle and bustle of the Middle District's shops, Waka's had a little work done on a previously abandoned little shop for himself and to_takamagahara. A few coats of paint and a little bit of work here and there and the outside was looking brand new. Originally a little cramped with no real room for living aside from a small bedroom upstairs, the inside has been completely redone to resemble a Japanese-styled home. A perfect mesh of old and modern, the bottom floor is home to nothing but a modest kitchen; comfortably-sized bathroom; a sliding door out to the backyard; and wooden stairs leading to a small balcony, then up to the second floor.
Upstairs is a simple living room that doubles as a bedroom as soon as a futon is laid out. A sliding door hides Waka's 'office' - the room is usually dark, and he's the only one who cares to go in there. By one window a very private balcony is accessible - more for storage than lounging due to the high walls. Towards the backyard is a larger window big enough for Waka to seat himself in, that looks out down below to a modest-sized square of land.
The backyard is all to_takamagahara's domain - Waka leaves the planting (and replanting) to her and just enjoys the view... which is constantly changing after she has the urge to dig.

[ The Marauder's House ]
Located in the Lower District, near Coral Corral, is a two-story house with a fairly simple front. The lower floor has a kitchen, a large living room, a dining room, a half bathroom, a small laundry room and a small library. The upstairs is made up of eight bedrooms and 2 full baths. Tucked away below ground level is the basement which only has one entrance leading to the outside, on the side of the house. The basement isn't used for much except once a month and it's kept sparsely furnished. The backyard, which is relatively large, has a decent sized garden filled with whatever the resident gardeners would like to keep, as well as a lap pool for the resident swimmers. [ nos_servabit's Cabin ]
If you're walking in the Lower District at night, you might see something that looks like a small cabin made of large sticks with a single glowing lantern hanging in the front. It looks quite old- apparently, it used to belong to a hermit that decided that it would be better for him to live away from the city. When the hermit eventually passed away, it was abandoned. Until now.
There's not much inside, except for a few things, like a table, a rocking chair, a really strange painting of a dog, and a large loom, where the beginning of a tapestry is being woven on. There isn' really much else, and there isn't anything technological inside- the owner of this place doesn't like using it that often.
Oddly enough, the cabin doesn't seem to be in the same place twice. But maybe that's just your imagination. Cabins can't move...can they?

[ Abandoned Warehouse ]
Once realising that it was impossible to leave after all, Saito has secured a place to stay by himself. He's a stickler for continuing his training, so he's turned the main area of a warehouse into a sort of dojo - he's put down wood flooring and cleaned it up quite a bit. Anyone is welcome to join him there, as it's a temporary Roshigumi. The outside has only been cleaned up, it still resembles a warehouse for the time being. Inside, apart from the redone floor, has a small room in the back as where he keeps his sleeping mat, and another small room next to it where he will store extra practice swords and the like. The walls will be covered in sheets that make it resemble something from Japan, with the kanji written about many haikus (a lot of them may be Hijikata's. Sorry, Vice Commander.) and wise words about swordsmanship.

[ Pirate Ship ]
There's no better place for a pirate than the abandoned old pirate ship that crashed its way into the bubble so long ago. Motochika's taken it upon himself to claim the place as any good plunderer would, though he hasn't quite kicked out the old ghost pirate residents yet either. So within the ship, all the ghost pirates and the original traps and wacky stairways have been left untouched and they're still present to greet anyone who bothers to enter. However Motochika thought to improve it a bit further, actually adding more traps like rolling boulders, exact trap doors, spiked gates, and more. It's open to whoever wants to stop by, though the way to the living quarters is filled with even more traps. But if you bother to venture that far, you're welcome to get to try your hand at finding the treasure room. Just be careful that the Demon of the Western Seas doesn't come home to find intruders in his ship.

On either side of the LOWER DISTRICT, resides two large homes. These buildings, near estate-esque, are the largest vacant buildings in the entirety of Vatheon. Both buildings lay host to a variety of balconies and gardens, as well as secret entrances and passageways. They are of the utmost-fashioned homes and despite being in the lower district, are nothing but the best. There are approximately ten bedrooms, three baths, a large and small kitchen, and various other rooms. Both are suited with grand entrances and mirroring spiral staircases. And did I mention that they were mirror-images of one another? Exactly the same.

The largest of the apartment buildings. It is five stories high, sporting five rooms per floor. There's a small balcony on the roof, but apart from that, there's really nothing else up there. [ ORDO NEIGHBORHOOD ]
Near the Library is the grand neighborhood of Ordo. The most highly furnished, fancy, and lavish apartment buildings reside in the two-by-two street area. Within the apartment buildings are two floors. In fact, these apartments are separate buildings side by side. An up-to-date, garnished kitchen that welcomes you inside, four bedrooms, two baths, a den, a study, two large living spaces, and an outside porch. Each apartment has a small spa built into the downstairs bathroom, and most apartments in this area come equipped with the oldest of wines and greatest delights. You certainly will not go bored here.

Overlooking the park is a nice, modern looking apartment building. With a security guard in charge at all times, and a private indoor swimming pool, these apartments are top notch. Decorated to the highest quality, they're quite a snatch for whoever wants to live comfortably and stylishly. Six floors high with six apartments on each floor and a penthouse at the top, four bedrooms in the penthouse, two in the apartments. It beckons for people to take residence within it.

[ first_scorned Place ]
Near the Library and not far off from the Grand Steps is an incomplete, abandoned building. It was apparently left during construction due to the fact the residents who use the Library complained about the noise, putting the remodeling to a complete halt. It has two simple floors, and one current resident, though no one is really sure who it is. From the second floor, a window overlooks the steps going up, the Library, and the path leading further into the Middle district's public areas. It's the perfect vantage point where one can be aware of those leaving as well as going past the house.
The inside of the house itself is basic, due to the fact it's unfinished; the furnishings seem to have been hastily left or brought there, and the paint isn't even on the walls, yet. Plumbing was finished beforehand, and it has running water and a single bathroom on the first floor near the steps leading up to the second floor. On top of having a decent it view, the building offers two doors in and out; both have locks for security. The back door leads to an alleyway behind the library, where one could slip out of sight in the event of an intrusion should something startle occupant.
The second floor bedroom contains a single set of the basics (moved in by its current resident, most likely): a small twin sized bed with red-colored sheets, a large wooden table with one matching, wooden chair; a small bookcase with books from the nearby Library checked out, and a reading lamp and small end table near the window overlooking the Grand Steps with a large armchair, for reading. Blinds cover this window most of the time, but passers-by will likely get the distinct feeling someone is living here. With Naoya's departure from the bubble, redcloakedthief has taken up residence here.
[ Patchwork Laboratory ]
A one story building (with a basement) the size of an average house, much like a warehouse. It is fairly stark, with a door to the basement to the right upon walking in. The main room is the living room, with a door to the (small) kitchen, which leads to the three bedrooms and two bathrooms - one full, one half (the half is in the master bedroom, which is his). There's no carpet on the floor, it's all cement. The rooms, of course, could be changed if anyone moved in. The doors are heavy metal, and have an odd habit of opening on their own, even inside the house itself.
It is decked out to look pieced together, with painted arrows on the floor, etc. The key to the basement (which he has modified into a lab, as best he can on the sea floor) only had one copy, and that is in his possession.
The outside looks scraggly and run-down, and not much of his modifications (mostly just gigantic stitches or arrows and the like) change that. Since Lea moved in, the yard is looking better and more tended to. To the side of the building there is a large pen for Chocobos of various colours.

[ The TARDIS ]
The 10th Doctor's TARDIS (his little blue box that's bigger on the inside) materialized in the North-East Quadrant Forest when the Doctor was pulled into Vatheon. Despite many tries, he hasn't gotten it to budge since it landed. The Doctor refuses to take up housing elsewhere, claiming that other housing prospects here were "too boring and traditional". The Doctor was never one for adhering to traditions, anyway.

[ The Villa ]
It's definitely small compared to normal villas, but still larger than anything the kids living in it (save the few rich kids) are used to. It stands at three floors tall, with enough rooms to accommodate all the kids, plus two extra guest rooms for any friends they end up taking in. It's got the usual necessities -- a half bath downstairs, a full bath on the second floor, a kitchen, dining room, living room and laundry room -- and then a few extra, empty rooms which the kids have taken upon themselves to expand upon -- adding things like a piano and other decorations to convert one room into a music room, for example. It has a small library with enough shelves to keep the two resident bookworms satisfied, a small yard outside, and a pond out front that's perfect for ducks. A few of the bedrooms started off empty, but the kids are working on making the villa a place they'll never want to leave. More info here.

[ Waka's House ]
Close to the hustle and bustle of the Middle District's shops, Waka's had a little work done on a previously abandoned little shop for himself and to_takamagahara. A few coats of paint and a little bit of work here and there and the outside was looking brand new. Originally a little cramped with no real room for living aside from a small bedroom upstairs, the inside has been completely redone to resemble a Japanese-styled home. A perfect mesh of old and modern, the bottom floor is home to nothing but a modest kitchen; comfortably-sized bathroom; a sliding door out to the backyard; and wooden stairs leading to a small balcony, then up to the second floor.
Upstairs is a simple living room that doubles as a bedroom as soon as a futon is laid out. A sliding door hides Waka's 'office' - the room is usually dark, and he's the only one who cares to go in there. By one window a very private balcony is accessible - more for storage than lounging due to the high walls. Towards the backyard is a larger window big enough for Waka to seat himself in, that looks out down below to a modest-sized square of land.
The backyard is all to_takamagahara's domain - Waka leaves the planting (and replanting) to her and just enjoys the view... which is constantly changing after she has the urge to dig.

[ The Marauder's House ]
Located in the Lower District, near Coral Corral, is a two-story house with a fairly simple front. The lower floor has a kitchen, a large living room, a dining room, a half bathroom, a small laundry room and a small library. The upstairs is made up of eight bedrooms and 2 full baths. Tucked away below ground level is the basement which only has one entrance leading to the outside, on the side of the house. The basement isn't used for much except once a month and it's kept sparsely furnished. The backyard, which is relatively large, has a decent sized garden filled with whatever the resident gardeners would like to keep, as well as a lap pool for the resident swimmers. [ nos_servabit's Cabin ]
If you're walking in the Lower District at night, you might see something that looks like a small cabin made of large sticks with a single glowing lantern hanging in the front. It looks quite old- apparently, it used to belong to a hermit that decided that it would be better for him to live away from the city. When the hermit eventually passed away, it was abandoned. Until now.
There's not much inside, except for a few things, like a table, a rocking chair, a really strange painting of a dog, and a large loom, where the beginning of a tapestry is being woven on. There isn' really much else, and there isn't anything technological inside- the owner of this place doesn't like using it that often.
Oddly enough, the cabin doesn't seem to be in the same place twice. But maybe that's just your imagination. Cabins can't move...can they?

[ Abandoned Warehouse ]
Once realising that it was impossible to leave after all, Saito has secured a place to stay by himself. He's a stickler for continuing his training, so he's turned the main area of a warehouse into a sort of dojo - he's put down wood flooring and cleaned it up quite a bit. Anyone is welcome to join him there, as it's a temporary Roshigumi. The outside has only been cleaned up, it still resembles a warehouse for the time being. Inside, apart from the redone floor, has a small room in the back as where he keeps his sleeping mat, and another small room next to it where he will store extra practice swords and the like. The walls will be covered in sheets that make it resemble something from Japan, with the kanji written about many haikus (a lot of them may be Hijikata's. Sorry, Vice Commander.) and wise words about swordsmanship.

[ Pirate Ship ]
There's no better place for a pirate than the abandoned old pirate ship that crashed its way into the bubble so long ago. Motochika's taken it upon himself to claim the place as any good plunderer would, though he hasn't quite kicked out the old ghost pirate residents yet either. So within the ship, all the ghost pirates and the original traps and wacky stairways have been left untouched and they're still present to greet anyone who bothers to enter. However Motochika thought to improve it a bit further, actually adding more traps like rolling boulders, exact trap doors, spiked gates, and more. It's open to whoever wants to stop by, though the way to the living quarters is filled with even more traps. But if you bother to venture that far, you're welcome to get to try your hand at finding the treasure room. Just be careful that the Demon of the Western Seas doesn't come home to find intruders in his ship.
