Hello! I'm here! I haven't updated properly in a month... :)

So let's see... ummmmmmmmmm...finals. They went pretty well. I got an 8 on the APUSH DBQ. An 8!!!! Yay!!! *is happy* I kept a B(+) in that class, so I'm happy. I scraped an A in math, so that's good (90.2 +90.0 on the exam...). And I got As in my other classes too. Yay! Greek still isn't ( Read more... )

Oh, and by the way? Tell your mom to go here: http://spectrum.troy.edu/~acl/jobs1.htm if she doesn't think there're jobs for Latin teachers. That number will...approximately quadruple between now and June, too.

ok, the seventh position on that list is a school my cousins used to go to for their gifted program. that amuses me.

other than that.........i dunno if we'll talk today/tonight. i gotta leave for chrysalis in...less than 2 hours (it's 4:11 right now). anyway... *orat*

well, as you'll eventually see, i didn't get on til about the time you had to leave. being a moron, i decided to run on the treadmill for an hour and ten minutes. i hate the treadmill with the burning passion of ten trillion suns. never thought i'd say this, but i'm too tall for it...i kept hitting my head on the ceiling. and it's sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo boring. grrrr.

dunno whether you'll be around later. we'll talk if you are and i'm awake... :)

by the way, to respond to your reply to susanna's comment: would it kill your mom to let you pursue YOUR interests instead of what she thinks they should be?

Magistra Troha told me it's pretty easy to get a job as a Latin teacher because the existing ones are getting older and retiring in the relatively near future, just FYI.

She's letting you take the class? AWESOME!! ASL really is a language and it's one of the most used in the US. So exciting!

My life is pretty good. Busy though! Actually I better go, our last basketball game of the season to cheer for is tonight. We should talk more later!!

Yeah! I made a deal with her (I'll have to hold her to it) that if I practice piano more, she'll let me take the class. (it's not offered at our high school, but at one of the local colleges) Plus, one of my friends is also planning to take it, and one or both of us will have a driving lisense by the time school starts again, so that might be useful.

Have fun at the basketball game! I'm at my grandparents' house right now to visit my new cousin Maggie, but she wasn't here for a while because her mom and sister went to a end-of-season basketball game, I think.

Ugh, ok. Math homework now. It's all graphing weird stuff on a graphing calculator, but I lost my calculator so I have to do it online. Yuck.
