It is amazing, yes. I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop or something. I'm just worried the other shoe might be my marriage. :( Thank you!

1) amasing. both of you.

2) because I used to inject a different hormone when i was younger I am a little concerned about being able to remember what to do. But reading your description I think I'll be fine. Thank you for the detail.

There are some good tutorials online. I can dig up links.

To you both - order larger gauge needles to draw with - 18 or 20 or thereabouts. Besides being a lot easier, there end up being fewer tiny bubbles, and more importantly, the tip of the needle remains sharper and will end up causing less damage over time. Here is a closeup of a needle reused: http://www.bd.com/us/diabetes/page.aspx?cat=7001&id=7266

Also - lots of us stick with the smaller gauge to shoot with - I use a 25.

Thank you for the offer. I'm a long way off hormones because I'm waiting for the NHS. I injected for myself between the ages of 7 and 14. I actually hated it so when the time gets closer I will investigate other ways of getting the right hormones into my system.

You're welcome. tommytesto beat me to recommending some of the amazing how-to vids on YouTube and some of the great posts on ftm. But there are other ways of getting the testosterone - creams, patches, pellets, subcutaneous injections, injections at the doctor's office, etc. You've got time to find the delivery method that works for you. And you can always switch if the first one ends up not working.

Congratulations! :)

That is a large starting dose, but just watch your energy and your reaction time. And keep protein snacks with you, since many of us experience drastic shifts in hunger& blood sugar patterns. You might go from not hungry to nauseatingly ravenous very quickly.

Thank you!

I'm trying to monitor (without hyper-monitoring, if that makes sense) what it's doing to me mentally and physically, but so far it's been really mild. Thank you for the advice re. protein snacks - we're kind of stuck with only what small amount of food we have in the house for right now, but I've got a 30-pound turkey defrosting in the fridge (yay having had a farm and having slaughtered before we moved) and so should have plenty of meat for sandwiches in the near future. :)

Congratulations. I hear you that's it's not all champagne and ticker tape parade right now, but if you do end up feeling like a celebration is in order at some time in the future, I'll throw you a party here or come down and buy you a beer. :) Hugs!

Thank you. A celebration would be nice at some point . . . you know, after I can afford the gas to go somewhere. :p
