as for your questions:

1. no, there's no comm out there dedicated to drabbles that i've ever run across. but, since it's perfectly fine to post drabbles here (the only time we have minimum word requirements are during the monthly challenges), you probably don't need to worry about that at all.

2. no, pairings do not have to always be a romantic type situation. some pairings would never be able to believably get into a romantic relationship, but there are lots of other kinds of relationships they can have.

and don't be afraid to PM one of the mods if you're unsure of things. one of us is always around and we get back with people pretty quickly.
