Okay I'll start us off with crappy ideas so others can chime in with better ones!

*enchanted object that turns a mech who touches it into...something cracky

The G1 Trans-organics were kinda creepy, especially the Dweller.

Also, for possibly spookiness with humor (Trauma for Waspinator, Cyclonus, etc.), there's spark-ghost possession. Starscream's aberrant spark enabled him to do it through G1 and Beast Wars, and I understand pseudo-canon indicates that in Transformers Animated, Prowl was going to be able to inhabit those transformers who were powered by AllSpark shards, after his union with the AllSpark, has there been Season 4 episodes.

Or, there's the Quintesson nightmare device from the Nightmare Planet episode of G1 cartoon, which originally aired on Halloween. It projects subconscious fears/images into reality.

Or, we could have another costume party and contest.

Ghosts would TOTALLY freak Waspy out.

I third this idea!!! XD And we could make it like an Evil Dead sorta story: The mechs notice that the season in Nexusville is turning simalair to fall and decide to celebrate the most common and awesome holiday af fall: Halloween. They decide to start decorating and planning a costume party, etc. When suddenly a Bot or Con discovers a book with creepy writing and symbols on it, and decides to ignore his, or her, common sense and reads it. At first nothing happens, but then creepy thing start happening around Nexus: mechs seeing and hearing eerie stuff at night, mechs having to face their worst nightmares and fears, spark ghost posessions(scary or cracky), and finally during the costume party a sudden attack by trans-organic creatures! It would be totally awesome!! Plus, we could scare the scrap outta a ton of bots in the process~ >D *Evil cackle*

I also like the idea of finding a mystical book that starts causing strange things for everyone...

Or! How about something makes everyone suddenly have a new alt mode/disguise? So, it'd be like dressing up for Halloween, only no one can control what they turn into. =3 The following chaos might be fun as everyone sorts themselves out...
