TFA Slipstream
As dusk falls over Nexusville, it is apparent something is going on in Park Slope. The cool-toned, slope-sided tower that lends the small neighborhood one half of its name stands out from the dark, vacant buildings, with the
glass-enclosed observation deck brightly lit, like a lighthouse signaling a port. Light beams out from the

[Starscream is at the DJ booth, positioned centrally in the observation deck, and enjoying the track by Linkin Park, as he contemplates the songs he wants to play during this set.]

*Rodimus makes his way up to the Observation Deck, wanting someplace a little quieter to watch people have fun. He smiles when he sees who is DJing.*
//Hello, Starscream.//

[Starscream looks up from the various media players and bows, slightly.]
Rodimus. A pleasure to see you.
Do you have a request? [Starscream scowls.] The Landlady says I have to accept requests and dedications.

//Actually, I like what's playing now.// *Smiling, Rodimus takes a seat near the both, where he can talk but not get in the way.*

[Starscream's voice cuts through to the observation deck's dance floor, as the previous song fades out.]
I have a dedication. This song goes out to Rodimus Prime.

[Starscream has some idea who this apparently neutral bot is. He's seen him around Medbay and the apartment building. He's pretty sure this is the owner of a particular poncho that sometimes hangs inside Slipstream's door. But, what he thinks when he sees the gaffer's equipment, is that, like Megatron, Slipstream has some ability to recruit handy mechs to do chores for her, while he, despite having made it to Second-in-Command of the Decepticon faction twice, is the recruitee, more often than not.]
What? [He sneers.]

Slipstream catches a glimpse of Lockdown, as he's moving through the lobby. She's too occupied with other guests to offer anything like help or thanks, of course. It had been even more work than she anticipated, getting the building set-up for the party, and she had still been regenerating, after her accident. It is downright noble and Autobot-like of her Blue Light Special to take on a lot of that work. As well he should, she tells herself. Capable as she is, she shouldn't be burdened with such tasks!
Yet, something about how helpful he is nags at her. It's like the mech is trying to demonstrate worthiness - not that she acknowledges they are in courtship of any kind - and it's working.
She winces, slightly, as she realizes she has been watching those swaying coattails, instead of her nearest guest.

Slipstream notices her brother arrive, and waves, as she is directing another guest to the refreshments.
//Ramjet. Have fun. I may catch-up, soon. Haven't even gotten to dance, or check-out the holograms yet!//

Wasp might say planning too much was not the way to have fun.
//Starscream is a DJ, but Jazz is also supposed to volunteer for a shift. I- I don't really know why Lockdown recommended the Guardsmech...except he did seem cool when I met him, you know, for an Autobot Cyber-ninja in the Elite Guard!//
