A Craving for...

(OOC: Hi everyone, I'm not dead. This summer has been rough though. This piece is written in a first-person narrative voice because it wouldn't sound right otherwise. Blitzwing needed to write this. You may reply, but to the story itself, not directly in the setting he describes here.)

I absorbed a whole lot of Earth culture, when I was hiding-out. There's a musical piece I like, I think it's called Trio in e by the human Schubert. I like the harmonics produced by the vibrations of the strings, but also...that there are three instruments playing together. Three is a good number.

I haff found dot I prefer human instruments vit' vibrating strings also. It is a shame dot the instruments are so small or I vould enjoy learning the violin, as strange as dot may sound."

I'm not the most musically inclined bot, as far as playing it. I like listening, and dancing, and apparently I can carry a tune. In any case, I don't see why we couldn't have up-scaled stringed instruments! I mean, it's all a matter of harmonics, and vibration, and material properties. You know? Finding a material for violin and bow strings that is of appropriate scale for you to handle, yet produces the desired friction and vibrations to produce aesthetically pleasing sound."

"Yes, I haff noticed the tendency Seekers haff to be in threes. I am not a Seeker myself, obviously, but I can understand the reasoning for two other wingmates for combat strategies. Dot is Ven the Seeker group works harmoniously, of course... otherwise it is easy to be in the presence of three troublemakers..." *he trails off, as if he knows about that all too well*

"I am known to occasionally *coughs* sing and dance from time to time. As far as playing an instrument myself... I haff not yet found the suitable materials to create a violin. Unfortunately the only musically-inclined mech I know of is back on my home Cybertron and he is not reachable here. If you haff suggestions on vot I should gather und do, I am more than villing to listen. I haff long suspected dot, should I learn this instrument, I vould gain greater focus und an ability to calm my mind more often. Joking aside I recognize dot I need these things, because it does get quite... chaotic in here."
