#1 could be beyond funny while #3 could be the stuff of legends; great ideas! Now I must depart slowly without making sudden movements so the bunnies will not see me.
#4 would be an AWESOME story. It would also be really hard to write since George Orwell set a higher bar than the 80's cartoon did. The fun part would be seeing how the humans (notably Spike and co., obviously) would be different or similar to their original selves in this alternate world, and how the government would react and/or adapt to this huge wrench in the works.
Considering how the book 1984 ended, there isn't much the Cybertronians could do to make it much /worse/.
Yeah... it could be really epic if done right, and showing that completely different dynamic between the Autobots and their human friends (?) would be fascinating... but I just don't think I have the time and brainpower to do it justice D: Hence why I stick it here hoping someone will take the idea and run with it, heheh.
Hm, also would have some interesting bearing on IDW Decepticons' infiltration protocol, where they work in secrecy to induce a planet to destroy itself. They really wouldn't have to do much in this case.
I never read the comics, so I can't comment on that. But it sounds like it would be fascinating. Complicated as all heck, but that's the sort of in depth, well researched and planned out plot that readers adore.
Unfortunately, that's what makes it so freaking hard. >.
