Prowl is pregnant. Lockdown discovers that Optimus and Ratchet are very much shotgun-daddies when it comes to the ninja.

I'm just curious, is that implying that they are the father of Prowl's sparkling? Or am I reading that wrong?

And don't worry, I'm sure you didn't claim any bunnies from me.

A Shotgun-daddy is a father who sits on the front porch cleaning his gun while his daughter is out on a date.

It means lockdown is on the reciving end of a shotgun wedding

Ah okay, sorrys X3 I got the saying mixed up with the other where a guy's so potent that it only takes him one time to get a girl pregnant.

And yeah, I can so see Ratchet being protective of Prowl, and Optimus demanding that things be set right.

Prowl and Soundwave are both the true leaders of their respective factions. Optimus and Megatron are just pawns, pretty faces to lead the masses.

If I may fool around with this just a little - from what I have read, the Marvel comics cast the rank of "Prime" as more of a religious rank than a military one, with the Matrix being a religious artefact because it came from the Cybertronian's god. My thoughts on the plotbunny are this: Optimus Prime hold religious rank, but the true secular and military leader is Prowl. Yes, Optimus is still a figurehead, but he still has the religious rank (which probably means one of his real jobs amongst the Autobots is as their lead priest).

Kinda what I was thinking. Prime's the leader, but not really the leader. *offers bunny and sacks of carrots* TAKE IT. IT'S YOURS. It wants to be an epic of epics but I already have two of those.
