Rainbow Bridge

I lost my dog and best friend tonight. it was the hardest thing to ever have to go through, watching a beloved pet die.. So... I'm sorry to put you all through this... but here's a short little drabble. It's based off of the poem "Rainbow Bridge" for those of you who've lost pets or are interested.

Absolutely beautiful; poignant and moving. I felt quite nostalgic, as though what you've written is already something that has come to pass. I wrote something very similar when my Pedro passed away. (only it was for the Hikaru no Go fandom) Thank you for sharing.

i am so sorry for you. loosing a pet-family member is one of the hardest things.
this is a beautiful story though, i actually welled up knowing where it came from (and i have pms so anything remotely distressing is making me tearful).

The story was really sad. - And beautiful at the same time. A rainbow bridge is really a nice image to think of when it comes to things like this.
