So I just read a Sookie Stackhouse book. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the series, it is about a waitress who lives in Louisiana and is a telepath. She doesn't really like it since she can't turn it off and inevitably picks up too much information. There are also vampires, werewolves, and fairies.
Anyway, here is the crossover.
For whatever reason, the Decepticons are in Louisiana. Maybe the Autobots are doing some sort of charity there. For whatever reason Sookie is there. When the Decepticons arrive, Soundwave and Sookie each realize the other is a telepath. Soundwave's never actually encountered another telepath so he's curious.
Possibilities:
a. Soundwave decides to abduct Sookie. Sookie is less than pleased.
b. Soundwave decides to mentor Sookie. He can empathize with her situation after all.
c. Sookie now has to worry about alien robots.
d. Depending on when this story would take place, vampires, werewolves, shape shifters, and fairies might be involved. What would Cybertronians make of these creatures? The closest Cybertronian equivalent of a vampire I can think of is a spark eater. Those are horrifying of course. I imagine it would make them rather nervous about vampires. On the other hand, they'd probably get along great with werewolves and shape shifters since they both have more than one form. Fairies...I don't think Cybertronians have an equivalent to the Fae, except for maybe in myths. They might operate under misconceptions due to how fairies are depicted in popular culture.
e. Sookie manages to avoid getting involved with Cybertronians and it's a one time thing.
f. Every scientist wants to study her and figure out how she can read minds.
g. Cybertronian suitor? Sookie seems to get the strangest suitors...
h. Sookie's not the only other telepath on Earth. Would any of the others get involved?
I wonder if there are any other telepaths in fiction that Soundwave could meet...
