To celebrate the new movie
Here are some Dinobot bunnies.
1. G1: Unlike other Transformers, the Dinobots lay eggs. The Autobots were completely unaware of this until the Dinobots did just that, much to everyone’s surprise, including their own. That’s not what’s bothering the Autobot’s though. What’s bothering them is who the other parent(s?) is. Especially Ratchet, who is less than pleased by the new development.
Wheeljack, on the other hand, is delighted at becoming a grandparent and helps with all the prenatal care. After the eggs hatch he sneaks energon treats to his grandbabies.
Bonus points if one of the hatchlings is Dinobot or Terrorsaur.
(Rattrap: What?! I-I think I’m gonna puke…
Dinobot: You were the one who asked why Terrorsaur called me ‘cuz’.)
2. The cute dinosaurs from Land Before Time are somehow reincarnated into the Dinobots (Which means you’ll at least need a sixth for Duckie). Depending on how old the dinosaurs were when they died, this could either be really funny or really depressing.
3. Calvin & Hobbes somehow meet the Dinobots. For whatever reasons, they really hit it off and all become friends. How do the Autobots react to this? How do Calvin’s parents react?
4. Another Calvin & Hobbes one. In this one, Calvin and Hobbes stumble across a cache of sparklings with no adults to be found (or an Allspark shard that brings a bunch of appliances to life). Since robots are awesome, Calvin and Hobbes befriend them and decide to teach them important stuff like how to play Calvinball, how to make snow goons, not to litter, and how to be a dinosaur. That last one causes some confusion, so Calvin brings his dinosaur books to show them. The sparklings decide dinosaurs are cool, scan the pictures, and turn into baby dinosaurs, tripling their cool factor.
Then adults find them.
5. Bayverse: Where did the Dinobots come from? Maybe there were dinosaurs that somehow survived the extinction event but still became metal? Or eggs that mutated? That would make them really old even by Cybertronian standards.
