I know, but I had not seen it, and it was not posted here. I am just gutted the writers have decided once more to imply that Michael would be OK to kill Teyla!
He's giving her a chance to stay alive. She'd just have to be at his side, that's all. :P
We already know for a long time now that the writers aren't capable of doing what *we* want them to do, so him now being harsh to Teyla isn't a big surprise. He's come to get the one thing that will lead him to victory, and even Teyla and her comments will not stop him from doing so, I believe. Her fist, on the other hand...
If we want Michael/Teyla, we'll just have to write our own fiction in order to get it.
Reading cedargrove's story yet? It's a huge project that replaces season 5, but on contrary to what the writers do, Cedar is able to decently write what she wants. Meaning: a darker season 5, and the ship she likes.
I suggest wiping away season 5 from your thoughts, and go read that story. :P
There's a little light in the dark tunnel, though.
Did you see Joe's quickly put together draft of season 6?
In one ep, 'Revenge', the alien from FC/TLT might have come back, but in the next episode, number 17 or 18 or something on the list, there was 'Payback', another individual that would try to get the Lanteans down because they stopped his plans.
Now, Michael getting away with invading Atlantis but getting away without the baby might screw up his plans so badly that he does one last desperate thing, and die in the process of doing so, in season 6. It's a possibility.
But now, with there no being a next season, he might be dealt with in the movie, Todd should be in it too, and maybe that's a nice opportunity to get a Todd & Michael scene. Maybe there's history between those guys that they can develop then.
Haha, that makes me blissfully dream there would be such an SGA movie that IS the Michael saga, and if he comes to an end in that, I would be sort of okay (but not really) with that because it would still mean 2hrs of Connor Trinneer screentime. He needs MORE.
I also have my hopes up that this episode won't be the end of Michael, given it's 5x14, and considering it is Michael, if they do end him, he's more suited to 5x20. But my worry is that perhaps they redrafted it and changed the ending once they knew SGA was cancelled.
