FOL fics in progress
Last night I posted part 1 of a long Jo/Blair story I'm working on called "Affinity."
There's another FOL story sitting unposted on my hard drive, which is 1800 words and (if I had to categorize it) preslash. For some reason I'm just not happy with it; that's why I haven't thrown it up on fol_fiction. Maybe I need a beta to tell me what I don't like about ( Read more... ) -
Official fangirldom
I've just been made co-maintainer of fol_fiction. Coincidentally, I have also ordered the season 1/2 DVD, which should arrive in a couple weeks. Once it does, I plan to post some "subtext recaps" (kind of like the episode commentaries the_girl_20 did for ashscribbs), in the hopes of inspiring fic from other members and maybe cranking the volume up on the community ( Read more... ) -

Maybe because when I'm reading recs, I don't usually pay much attention to what the reccer says the story's about. I just want to know if they think it's worth reading or not. Recs - Janice & Mel
Is There a Doctor on the Dig? by Bat Morda features Janice and Mel travelling to a remote island to get the scrolls back from Janice's nemesis. At the time it came out, this story was the be-all and end-all of fanfic to me. I adored it.
