Art attack

I think it's safe to say that I'm a ridiculously active supporter of the arts. Almost all of my free time is dedicated to some arts organization or another. I'm on the board of directors for both Lawndale Arts Center and Diverseworks Artspace. I have co-chaired the VIP party for the Art Car parade for six years. I think the Houston Arts community should give Mr. Dolcefino and his station an earful. I think that pointing out the boon the arts community is to the Houston economy is the kind of story Channel 13 ought to be reporting.

I suppose this guy is thinking that he's going to be the next incarnation Marvin Zindler or something...

wayne dolcefino is a complete and utter tool.

i guess he has to find something new to pick on since, y'know, the ike store is CLEARLY over. *insert dripping sarcasm* so, why not the arts! why not question why, how and what the fourth largest city in the united states uses its tax dollars for in the arts?! because that is really news.

again, dolcefino = tool. if he is so personally concerned about his tax dollars and how they fund the arts, then perhaps he should move back to where he is originally from - BROOKLYN. cuz, y'know, that texas twang he has is completely manufactured.

Houston has a robust arts community - it would be foolish to undermine that strength with this kind of foolishness.
