Burn without us

Burning Man starts next week, and for the third time, we won't be there. We're sort of bummed hearing about the exploits of our friends getting ready for the Burn, but I don't think we're all that upset that we're not going. We knew quite some time ago that it wasn't in the cards for us this year. It'd be another stress to get ready this year,

I grok this completely. With this year, I'll now have missed more Burns than I attended. That makes me no less happy that my BFF is finally getting to go, but still, when I read my friends plans or we all collectively improvise something, I remember it all so fondly.
