"No. Distribution media was done through three-dimensional hologram networks" she explains, still looking at the screen. She seems kind of curious. "This seems to lose veracity, but... it adds a certain mythic touch by using simple icons in movement. It's less like watching a situation than the holograms, and more like a representation of a storyteller's drawings of an old legend during the hour of fire"
At that moment, a particularly cheesy line about bravery and fighting spirit and proving your friendship through fighting makes Samus's lips seem to inch upwards ever so slightly. "Legends indeed. Where war is glorious and blood runs hot"
2, and you certainly did better than my first attempt.leftjokerOctober 23 2011, 23:17:38 UTC
[Shoutaro doesn't actually have a mech, but as a detective, he makes it his business to get involved with other people's business. Which is why he's approaching you with an air of guarded curiosity. He doesn't say anything yet, wondering if you'll actually talk first.]
[There's no chance whatsoever of Ryoma objecting to this plan because it's dangerous, unfortunaely, but on the bright side he has dumber problems with it.]
Why am I supposed to be the one running away for help? I'll be the distraction.
[Don't worry, this is SRW. I fully expected at least someone to have Ryoma's current reaction]
Samus turns her head at Ryoma. Her eyes can't be seen through her visor, but it's hard to miss the ice in her voice. It doesn't seem directed at the man, though.
"Because I am going to kill him. It is not a distraction" she says, in deadly deadpan, pointing to the dragon flying away. "But I can't take on everyone else out there after him alone. We will need reinforcements"
And just like that, Samus is out of the hiding place, booster on and accelerating. It's not going to be more than a few seconds before the black mobile suits detect her and home in...
Samus looks at the other woman as a warrior looks to another. Hard to miss the signs. But she does notice the other seems even more lost in this place than herself...
"I presume Reach is where you come from? I am Samus Aran. It is a pleasure"
...so Samus does her best attempt at "polite". Grey Voice would probably not be very satisfied with the results, though.

I'm surprised that you are ale to appreciate it though, most of the time people like to laugh at how old these shows are.
[Seeing her interest brought a smile to Ichitaka.]
Of course next comes the finishing attack, SHINE SPARK.
[He called it out at the exact same moment it was shouted.]

Kind of a strange place to meditate, isn't it?

Tch. I'll take point while you deal with him, and if I need help you can catch up. Deal?
